of course with the contract...I noticed it's still $49.99 at AT&T after a $50 mail in rebate.

I went in one day to get a cable and glanced at the phones noticed a Samsung Jack for free w/ contract. Went to the AT&T store to see if they would price match and they wouldn't. Went back to the shack and picked up a Jack to only have die 2 weeks later.

Took it back last Sunday and got the Solstice. I like this phone much better so far. Plus I don't have to have an additional $30 a month PDA plan, just $10 a month for unlimited internets.

Push email was kind of nice though on the Jack.

Just wanted to give a FYI.

Not anymore.

I went to radio shack initially to get mine. It was there on display with the FREE advertisement. I went through the contract extension and ALL the paperwork just to have the stupid clerk tell me at the very end......"UH OH" "This phone isn't free anymore, it'll be 69 bucks if you still want it.  After three trips from radio shack to the ATT store and each of them telling me that it was the others responsibility to undo the changes to my account I still had an old phone and a pissed off feeling. I ended up at Fry's where the guy actually knew the definition of customer service. He got on the phone with AT&T and got the contract squared away AND got me the phone for free (even had the tax and upgrade fee waived). Skrew The Shack

Sorry you had a bad experience at the Radioshack, but just letting people know, the Solstice is free again there. Picked mine up along with free activation with my silver tongue.
