I just had a talk with samsung technical support. My question to them was what version of pc-studio are we to be using with vista 64bit or windows 7? After much discussion and 2 support reps all I could get out of them is all versions of pc-studio are only supported on xp 32bit and vista 32bit. So if you are using xp 64bit, vista 64bit, or windows 7 you are out of luck. They claim no version supports these other operating systems. But they are working on it and should be updating their applications.

This is the same line of bull that I got from them when I asked about why the impressions version only did media files. No contact, texts or calendar syncing.  That was months ago and still no impression update. Its cool cause the eternity's and soltice's version work fine with my impression.

But to have no support for 64 bit operating systems and windows 7 is just piss poor. Samsung really needs to get it in gear. I have the feeling they are giving up on j2me phones and just don't care.

Well you know, I'm not having any trouble on my Vista 64 bit computer. Not with the PCstudio, anyway. I already transferred a bunch of pictures and music to and from the phone with it. It's TKFE that seems to not want to list off the ports. But I think I may have that figured out as well, due to the members here. They need to put out a new better updated version of TKFE as well as the PC studio IMO.

Download and install pc studio for the solstice in compatibility mode. It installs the drivers.

I just noticed a new version of PC-studio (1.3.0) was posted on Samsung's website today.  For OS support, it just lists XP/Vista the same as the last version.
