Right. The jar file is actually the program. The jad is just a small file that tells how to install and run the app. When you install with TKFE you need both files. So you will have to make a jad for that jar. Most of the time a generic jad made by jadgen will work for you.
When you install by uploading your jar to rumkin or imserba, they make a jad for you. You just don't know it.
But some apps like my version of google maps requires a jad with needed components in it.

Connect to PC-studio. Make sure it sees and connects to your phone. Then close PC-studio. Start up TKFE. Click on setting then com. Next to port there should be blank window and an arrow. Click on arrow and your port should be listed.
If you are not seeing a port then you dont have your phone plugged in or you are still running PC-studios.

In tkfileexplorer under COM where it asks for Port``` manually type "COM(x)"- for me i manually typed COM1, COM2, COM3, COM4, COM5, COM6- then bam COM6 works!
Another note, games must be dragged from within the upper half of tkfileexplorer to the lower half- dragging anything from outside tkfileexplorer to inside tkfileexplorer wont work.---Assuming your games are downloaded onto your desktop {-- Documents and Settings -> (Your Computer name) ->Desktop}

Glad you guys got it working. Sorry, I had something come up and could not be online too much longer after my post. One way to tell what port it is using is look in device manager, there should be a Samsung Modem in there (not sure exactly what it is called as Im on my laptop and I was using my pc at work). You can go into the details of that Modem (its under the Modem tab in Vista, not sure on XP, but just check them all) and you will see the Com Port listed. That is how I found what port to put in there.

You are correct. When you have your phone connected to the pc (pc-studio mode only) you will have in device manager and under the modems a samsung mobile modem. Double click on the modem. Click on the advanced tab. Toward the bottom click on advanced port settings. You should see your COM# listed.
And yes if for some reason you need to enter a com port manually in TKFE, you enter the word com and the number. So if the port was 15 you would enter COM15.
