Until the master key was released, there was no safe way to delete locked applications from the newer Samsung phones (Solstice, Impression, Eternity). As the master key has now been found, this is possible. Follow these steps, but only if you want to permanently delete the included locked applications. I would suggest backing them up using TKFE, a process I will detail in another thread. This information is copied from the Samsung Impression website, so Agoattamer gets all of the credit.

Use Tkfile explorer to go to the locked folder that you wish to delete. Right click on the folder of the locked app and select delete.

Disconnect from TKFE.

Open up your dial pad and enter the following, *#6984125*#.

Choose INTERNALS and enter the following, *#3818790*#.

Now scroll down and choose Storage Settings. Then update Java DB, followed by update apps database.

You're done!

No this is to delete the locked apps in the games/apps menu. It doesnt allow for you to delete locked pics or tones. You are stuck with those locked pics.

The shortcuts on the menu are stuck there. We tried to link them to other applications but have been unsuccessful.

If you can delete from phone then use the delete button on the phone. Should only use tkfe to delete locked applications.

This is all through a program on a PC? And does this void any warranty? New to the forum thanks.

If its not in your user manual then it voids the warranty. Everything you take off or put on this phone that has nothing to do with ATT voids the warranty. Doesnt matter as they never check this. And yes you have to do it with TKFE on your pc.

I was able to delete the lock app short cuts.  Click on 'locked apps' in TKFE.  Then right click on the directory corresponding to the link you want to delete and delete it.
