The accuweather is alright but it doesnt tell much and the updating is an issue. Have you checked out our Mycast Weather app on the eternity and impression forum? Actually its your app from the solstice.  Grin That weather app is the chit. I have figured a way to renew it every 2 weeks. If you like your weather it is worth it updating it every 2 weeks.

OK, delete the widget on the samsung test page first. That is very important. Then upload this one and give it a try. This will just update the one on he phone.

Thanks for the tip...widget is working now, still has arrows but no biggie man. I am not picky, just didnt know if u put them in to serve a certain function.  Thanks again....might have some more ideas soon...would love a BBC World News widget set up like the CNN widget. I dont know how to make .png files I got lucky by finding the winamp one.

The reason for the arrows is if the space allowed for the icon is smaller than the icon. I bumbed that space up more in the second widget. Reboot your phone and see if the arrows are still there. I can get rid of them. But I thought that would have.

I haven't been able to get going on this.
Can someone start with a widget on the samsung mobile innovators page and give a step by step?

Also, I went to the widget test page  http://innovator.samsungmobile.com/wgt/cp.do?platformId=12
I clicked on register and uploaded Accuweather.  The upload terminated witht the error message "the widget seems broken".

Where am I going wrong?

Then the widget you tried to upload was bad. Where did you get it. Or what did you do to it before uploading it?

UPDATE: It now works.  I changed 2 things- I switched to my desktop running xp vs windows 7 on my laptop.  I also used firefox vs explorer 8 because the "register" button didn't show up on explorer.   I will play around with this until I figure out what the actual problem was.

Thanks for getting back to me.
