Title: Sprint's 4G for real?
Post by: PhotonFanatic on November 29, 2009, 04:35:25 AM
I know they are calling it 4G (4th Generation) but does anyone know if thats just a bunch of hubris? They claim speeds 10X faster than 3G. That should be decent speeds. And does anyone know when this will start showing up in the cell phones? Or would that just like cook your brain with the microwaves?

I would like to see a Speedtest.net test result, on a tethered phone (a cell phone that's hooked up to a computer and being used as a modem) that had 4G.

I believe sprint calls their 4G but it is supposed to be the same as ATT's 3G+.  It still depends on where you are located so that you get the full speed.
