dont get me wrong, i love my solstice but why did samsung lock the images on it so that every time u lock and unlock your phone you have to look at hideous images. all these different things that u can customize but your own screensaver is locked? thats just dumb..

is there an explanation behind that?

No it cant. The locked pics are not on the filesystem. The copy on the phone are just default wallpapers and although are the same pics are noy used for the locked screens.
