Ok, I just checked and it looks like when I download animated gifs, the phone automatically convert them to pngs. Any idea on how to stop this from happening? Title: Re: Animated wallpaper?? Post by: Agoattamer on December 22, 2009, 10:24:13 AM That is medianet for you. Are you downloading .gif files from a link or selecting the image itself?
Title: Re: Animated wallpaper?? Post by: danny214 on December 23, 2009, 10:11:10 PM im downloading the file not from a link. when i download it in opra it launches medianet to download it.
Title: Re: Animated wallpaper?? Post by: Agoattamer on December 23, 2009, 10:40:13 PM Thats what I mean. Is the file a download link or are you pressing on the actual pic and trying to save it that way? That should be the only reason it would change format. Also if opera mini is goatbroken it should be able to download it itself without opening medianet. I can go to the forum and click on the download of the wallpapers and it will download it with opera mini.
And if Medianet is actually doing the download that could be the problem also. Pics downloaded through Medianet seem to get reformatted when going through the ATT proxy. Only way around this is to make a new network profile just like the medianet profile except do not fill in the proxy. Then have Medianet use that network profile. Title: Re: Animated wallpaper?? Post by: danny214 on December 29, 2009, 01:26:56 PM I would like to goatbreak opra mini but I don't have a cable... I'll try setting up a new network profile. Hopefully that helps.

Post by: merrick92 on January 21, 2010, 04:26:44 PM Theres a website called reddodo that has some pretty cool animated gifs. You would have to resize them though, to fit your phone. Heres one that I resized. I have had trouble finding decent gifs for the phone. Has anyone here found any decent sites that have some good ones?
