If you use your "Favorites" widget, (or even go to favorites in your browser, I think) you have to scroll through 7 or 8 of the stock default URLs before you can get to the ones you made.  I would like to delete these URLs, but you can't if you hit delete. It will only let you select the ones that you have made. I do not need their "recommendations" on some good favorites to have. So does anyone know how one can get rid of them?

Here is how I did mine.

I connected my phone to TKFE and went to the bookmarl.xml in the User\Br folder.

I uploaded it to my computer. I opened it with wordpad.

And for each bookmark you will see a '1' after lock. For example: lock="1">. I changed all the 1's to 0's. Saved the file and downloaded it back to my phone.

I rebooted my phone and opened up the widget for medianet favorites. I can now select delete and delete the favorites that were locked before.

Simple and all done.

Well I got my data cable in. Unfortunately, it seems that I am having some trouble. I connected the phone, and checked it in the device manager. All seems well there. It is recognized as a working device with the drivers installed. However, when I enter the port number that it says the phone is using, TKFE gives me the error message in the pics. Maybe I left out some important step, when it comes to getting my solstice to snyc up with TKFE? Under the drop down arrow in TKFE, I have no ports to select from, so I entered "0007" manually, then hit "OK". Then I hit the snyc button, but I get the error message you see.

I read the guide you have on connecting to TKFE, and even went as far as to try the alternative communication method that is at the bottom of the guide. However, I do not have windows 7, I have vista so I do not know the steps to force vista to install the new drivers.

No no no. Dont look in usb for port. Look in modems for samsung mobile modem. Click on the advanced tab and the advanced port settings. At the bottom of that window will be your port. COM##. You must enter it with the COM and the number with no spaces.

You did install pc studio first so you would get the drivers?
