I've download and fixed the .jar file to be fullscreen. Below is the attached .jar file. Download this file and then using you pc go to http://pcs.cruz-network.net/. Once your there upload the .jar file and click on send midlet. Then use your phones browser and go to the instructed site and enter the code. your phone will download the .jar file. Enjoy!

Why didnt you include the rotate code since the solstice can rotate with the accelerometer?
MIDlet-ScreenMode: Rotate
and the
LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Height: 320 LGE-MIDlet-TargetLCD-Width: 240
does nothing for the phone. This only works on LG phones. And the solstice is 240x400, not 240x320.

it just works, that was the bottom line. Come up with an easier way and do it yourself, then post. I'll compare. Until then you got nothin.

No need to be an @#$%^&*. Just letting you know the solstice rotates with that code but since you wanted me to, sure. Here is the improved download that will rotate when you tilt your phone. Fullscreen and rotation codes added.

Sorry for sounding like a smart A$$. I'll go ahead and admit it, im guilty of being a newb. I can't thank you enough for your attached file. It works great. I'm not quite as advanced to do all that. Right now I'm having problems getting a port to show up. But I'm a man that admit when im wrong, so my hats off to you. Good job and to everyone else I've downloaded and installed this, the tilt works great. Thanks again man.

Thats ok. I didnt mean to come off harsh. After 3000 posts on these forums I usually just say what needs to be said. Most stiill use the sizes in their fullscreen. Just letting you know don't waste your time. Does nothing unless you have a LG VU.
Also the solstice is special. If you add that code to most apps (not games) they will rotate when your phone rotates. I wish my impression did that.
OK, now to help with that com port. Have you installed pc-studio first? Can you connect with pc-studio? Do you have your phone set on pc-studio mode? We will start there.

There is no certificates in this file. How are you downloading it? Which wap uploader are you using?

I was following the tutorial from the top of this thread, "go to http://pcs.cruz-network.net/. Once your there upload the .jar file and click on send midlet". Once I got the code, went onto my solstice, and tried both opera and medianet to download with the code supplied. Was this file for opera without the keypad extension on the screen? I already have the regular 5 beta (signed), and was hoping this new jar got rid of the keypad on the bottom of the screen. Sorry for the newbishness :0

As far as the keyboard goes, are you talking about the directional buttons, or the browser specifice qwerty keyboard? If your speaking of the browser specific qwerty keyboard you can turn that off by going to settings, advanced, and turn inline editing off. If your talking about the set of arrow keys than yes, the version that agoattamer posted will not only get rid of the arrows but allow you to tilt to landscape mode on the fly without changing your settings. If the cruz network wap uploader site doesnt work for your try another site. There are several. Just google wap uploader. Hope this helps.

Thanks guys. I was able to install it once I deleted my original opera. That must have been my problem all along. 1 question though. My original beta was a signed copy, so I could avoid the 'ok to send information?' screen.Does anyone have a signed copy of this full screen version in order to avoid the 'ok to send information?' screen every time I go to another site? Or do I need to goatbreak it with a data cable and tkfe ? I don't have a cable yet, so I would have to wait a bit to do it this way. More than likely I will keep this version either way, cuz I love the use of the whole screen, but I was curious. Thanks

If you want a signed fullscreen version we will have to try it this way. Down below is the jad for a signed opera mini 5 beta. Upload it to wapHQ. just like you do jars except go here for jads. http://www.waphq.net/index.phpThen follow directons on the wapHQ site (same as rumkin or imserba) and download to your phone.

That is so cool. Worked like a charm. Thanks for your help. Now if only opera would support flash on their mini I would do the dance of joy......
